Delete Your InstaPickleball Account

You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time. Choose either method below — the email option works even if you have already uninstalled the app.

Option 1 · Delete in the app

If you still have InstaPickleball installed, this is the fastest way:

  1. 1 Open the InstaPickleball app.
  2. 2 Go to Settings.
  3. 3 Tap Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps.

Option 2 · Request by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity.

Use the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and email support@instapickleball.info.

What happens to your data

We remove your identifiable data, but some shared and legally required records may be kept. This mirrors our Privacy Policy.

What we delete

  • Your account identity and login access
  • Identifiable profile data: email, name, profile photo, DUPR ID, and location
  • Profile visibility and personal status data removed from active use

What we may retain

  • Shared content (group messages, merged court edits, comments) may remain visible, reattributed to a generic “Deleted User”
  • Safety, moderation, fraud-prevention, dispute, credit, and audit records may be kept for up to 7 years
  • Backups are overwritten in our ordinary backup rotation, typically within 30 days

We verify your request and process account deletion within a reasonable time. Where required by applicable privacy laws, we typically respond within 45 days, subject to the legal retention obligations described above.
